There are a lot of New Year’s resolutions to aim for. But if you want to do something that can be both helpful to you and to the world, one small step can be minimalism.
Minimalism doesn’t have to be drastic like throwing away everything you own or shaving your head. There are various ways to be a minimalist. In order to maintain the lifestyle, your mindset and determination should be prepared well; don’t just do it because it’s a fad or you simply idolize someone famous. It’s okay to be inspired but brief yourself that even if everyone else decides to walk away from it, you would still be living out the minimalist lifestyle you sought to have.
Here’s a good start: food. It’s like hitting 2 birds with 1 stone if you’re trying to lose the holiday belly as well. Minimalist eats might be something you enjoy so why not start there?
